EN 14126 is not a type of its own — it is a set of additional requirements added to the existing chemical types. The marking therefore reads Type 4-B, Type 5-B, Type 6-B, where B denotes biological protection.

Where it is used
Healthcare during infectious outbreaks, laboratories, veterinary work and animal disease control, sewage and waste handling, and cleaning after biological contamination.
Note that the level of clothing must match the risk group. Work with high-hazard pathogens calls for a Type 3-B or Type 4-B coverall together with respiratory protection; a simple Type 6-B is for routine contact.
