Privacy policy

Who we are

guardline.ge is operated by Guardline LLC, 8 Simon Kandelaki Street, 0160 Tbilisi, Georgia, which is the controller of your personal data. For questions or requests, email info@guardline.ge.

What we collect

• Account: name, email, phone and password (stored only in hashed form; we can't see it).
• Business account: company name and identification code, which we check against the public registry.
• Orders: recipient name, phone, delivery address, notes, the items bought and the amounts.
• Payment: card details are handled by our payment provider (Flitt); we never see or store your card number.
• Site usage: pages viewed, device type, where you came from and time spent. This is recorded against a random identifier, not your name.
• Microsoft Clarity: anonymised recordings of how the site is used (clicks, scrolling). Text typed into forms is masked. When you're signed in, a recording may be linked to your internal account number.

Why we use it

We don't send marketing email without your consent.

• To fulfil and deliver your order and contact you about it (performance of a contract).
• To run your account, confirm your email and reset your password.
• To review business accounts and offer trade pricing.
• To keep the accounting and tax records the law requires.
• To keep the site secure and improve it (legitimate interest).

Who we share it with

We don't sell personal data. We share it only with the services the site needs to work, and only what they need:

• Hosting and database: Railway (Netherlands), Neon (Germany).
• Files and DNS: Cloudflare, Cloudinary.
• Email delivery: Resend.
• Payments: Flitt.
• Analytics: Microsoft Clarity.
• Internal alerts: our staff are notified of new registrations via Telegram.
• Delivery: the courier receives the recipient's name, phone and address.
• Public authorities, where the law requires it.

Transfers abroad

Some of the services above process data in the EU or the United States. We use only providers that offer appropriate data-protection safeguards.

Cookies

If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, statistics and Clarity stay off.

• Sign-in cookie: keeps you signed in (necessary).
• Language choice (necessary).
• gl_vid (1 year) and gl_sid (session): site statistics, using a random identifier.
• gl_optout: set if you ask to be excluded from statistics.
• Microsoft Clarity cookies (_clck, _clsk).

How long we keep it

• Your account: until you delete it or ask us to.
• Orders and invoices: for the period Georgian tax and accounting law requires.
• Statistics: in pseudonymous form, for as long as it helps us improve the site.

Your rights

Under Georgia's Law on Personal Data Protection you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or stop its processing, and to receive it in a portable form. Email info@guardline.ge and we'll respond within the time the law sets. You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia (pdps.ge).

Children

The site is meant for adults; we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

When we update this policy we'll publish the change here and update the date above.
